Last weekend, the new window was
finally installed, so we spent the rest of the week trying to tie up all the loose ends. Brian installed quarter round all the way around the room to complete the baseboard molding. I then followed behind with some painter's caulk (my new best friend) and another coat of paint. Then Brian painted around the window and any remaining trim. Saturday, we assembled the bed and changed the outlets and their covers. And on Sunday, we had our first guests, my parents! I feel so relieved that it's complete and we can now relax. Kind of.

pictures still need to be hung, but you know how I feel about that
repainted door and another fabulous stripping of the original doorknob
that contraption you see in the corner is a fan, AC,
and heat pump, because, you know, this is the attic.
