3 month appointment

We had Cassidy's three month appointment this morning.  It was supposed to be just for shots with the nurse, but because we had a few questions, we met with Dr. Rosenburg as well.  He is so impressed with her and told us numerous times.  They didn't weigh or measure her, but Brian and I have and she's around 15 pounds and 25 inches already!  Not only is she off the charts in measurements, she's hitting milestones early.  She's been flirting with sitting on her own the past few days and officially showed off her new skill at school today.  The doc says that's a 6 month marker!  You definitely have to set her up and she only lasts a few seconds before falling to the side, but we managed to catch this pick with Brian's cell phone...

We also stopped by school to set up daycare.  I'll be returning April 9th for one day, then we have April break, and I start teaching again on the 20th.  Cassidy will be coming to school with me every day and we'll be taking advantage of the in house daycare.  The ladies there are REALLY nice and I feel much better after meeting with them today.  Right now there's about five or six kids, but many are children of seniors in the school, so she'll be one of only two or three kids by the end of the year.  How great is that?  They're even going to continue cloth diapering with Cassidy!
