8 week belly

Oh, my! I'm huge. Can't tell if it's just bloat or the fact that I'm not nearly as nauseous this time around and therefore can eat tons more or that it's just my second, but my belly is out of control!

Yesterday I had my first prenatal appointment. It wasn't very exciting, mostly just the standard checklist of questions. I did get to schedule my first ultrasound for this Friday which we are eagerly anticipating. One cool new thing is that the practice I attend has an Americorps person for a year who is providing free doula services, so that's fun. I didn't want a doula last time, didn't really feel like my "style", but after going through it, I've definitely warmed up to the idea. We'll see. Okay, more on Friday!
