Our days have been spent mostly snuggling, feeding, and sleeping. She's intoxicating.

Cassidy loves her swing. I didn't think I wanted one, but I totally take that back now that she's been using it. Brian especially likes the attached tray... Baby's first 'Gansett!

We gave Cassidy her first sponge bath. She had at least one at the hospital, but here's our first solo one. Because her umbilical cord is still attached, we can't submerge her in water yet, so we worked in the kitchen. It was quite successful.
getting ready (yes that's the stove)

not so sure about this!
we can tell she's going to be a spa girl, she LOVED having her hair washed and head massaged
We had our first check-up yesterday. Cassidy was born at 8 lbs. 10 oz. and lost about 10 oz. by the time we left the hospital on Saturday (which is completely normal). At her appointment yesterday she had already gained 8 oz. back! Our midwife was so impressed with how well Cassidy is nursing and called her a champ! It's so relieving to know that she's doing well.
but she still looks so tiny in her crib!
can it possibly get any better than this?
