seven months!

Hi, sweet girl!

You are seven months old!  Yay!

Let's see...  looking back on your six month letter, I feel like a lot is the same except with one major difference, your sleep!  You were doing so well!  Then I broke you.  See, we get up for the day during the week at 5:30 and your body had adjusted itself to wake up at that time every day.  So, on weekends, I started bringing you into bed with me at 5:30 to nurse and get you back to sleep.  5:30 turned into 5:00, turned into 4:00, turned into 1:00, you get the picture.  I'm hoping over April school vacation, we re-Ferberize and get back on track.

Physically your hair is getting longer and blonder.  You're still super chubby and your rolls are amazing!  You're pretty solidly in 12 month clothing.  You have a beautiful toothless smile, but you've had a little lump on the bottom left for weeks now.  It doesn't seem to bother you a whole lot, but it's keeping me from giving you food that requires chewing.

Speaking of food, you've had bananas, avocado, sweet potatoes, squash, peas, applesauce, mangoes, puffs, and Mum Mums.  There's not much you won't eat, definitely a foodie.  You have a great pincher grasp and can feed yourself quite well.

You're an excellent sitter, but only roll if you really want something out of your reach.  We know you can do it, but you're just so content!  During tummy time you often try to pull your knees up under you, so crawling can't be too far away.

You are an absolute joy and a wonderful little snuggler, happy 7 months!
