Munkle Shaun and RaRa arrived Friday evening from Massachusetts, giving us the rest of the evening to get ourselves packed and ready to go for our Saturday morning flight. Cassidy was very excited, running around shouting "Let's go to Key West!" and flying around as an airplane. Travel went well, but of course she didn't sleep a single wink on the plane and saved her nap till the car drive down to the keys at 5 o'clock. This was the beginning of a very rough week of sleep.

We finally arrived at the house around 8:30 where my parents greeted us with a wonderful shrimp dinner. Towards the end, I switched Cassidy into her "big sister" t-shirt so we could tell our parents the exciting news. I had managed over 24 hours keeping it a secret from Shaun and Alissa and I was dying under my baggy sweatshirt! Everyone was thrilled.
Sunday morning Cassidy woke at 6:30, making sure we all caught the morning sunrise. This ended up being the case every. single. morning. It sure is beautiful though!
After some hanging out around the house and more than one cup of coffee, my parents had to head out for their drive back north. Although our time together was short, I know they loved seeing Cassidy enjoying her second trip to Key West at the family house.
After an interesting turn of events, Uncle Mark and JoJo were able to extend their stay in Key West until Monday morning. They were staying at the Southernmost Hotel and invited us to spend the day with them at their pool. It's incredibly relaxing when you have two sets of babysitters! Cassidy was such a fish and spent the entire time in the pool.
Monday morning Shaun and Alissa drove into town and went for a bike ride while the three of us bummed around the house. Brian cracked open a coconut for us to eat and Cassidy played in her tent. That evening we went to dinner at Kelly's.
the tide was very low due to the full moon and the birds were very grateful
