This past weekend my parents came up to visit. They arrived on Saturday, but because it was super rainy, we mostly just bummed around the house together. After we went out for dinner, we came back to the house and Grandy and Poppy (we're trying another name on for size) got to participate in our bedtime routine.

In her time spent at the house, Grandy worked super hard on a special request... a monkey hat!

Sunday's weather cleared up beautifully, so we decided to go apple picking at Jaswell's Farm. This is a very New Englandy thing to do and we had a wonderful time together.

Even though we don't have any pictures, Uncle Mark and Jo Jo stopped in Sunday evening on their way home from an anniversary trip to Boston. Although short, Cassidy was very excited to see them! Happy Anniversary!

loving the monkey hat. and jaswell's- that's where i went apple picking once :) i also super love the picture of her sitting on the pumpkin- adorable!
