Yesterday was our second trip to the beach. Since we went swimming on Sunday, Cassidy's suit and sun hat were in the wash. So, I dressed her up in another suit and packed a different sun hat. Either Cassidy had an amazing week of brain growth or we shrunk her hat, because it barely fit and I couldn't snap the chin strap, so she just kept ripping it off her head. Worried that her little scalp would get burnt, I whipped out the sunscreen and coated her head. Woah! Poor little Cassidy had gray hair for the rest of the afternoon and the amount of sand that stuck to her little head was disgusting. Can you say Ed Grimley? Oh well, at least it worked and it didn't seem to bother her one bit! It will probably be a few more baths before she's back to normal...

we shrunk amelia's hat too!! i always put the sunscreen in her hair, since she's so blond and fair. it works, and i don't care how many times i have to wash it to get it out, as long as her noggin is protected!
cass looks like she had fun at the beach!
