I'm so excited! I think I came up with a rockin' nursery plan. Because I'm a nerd and I really, really enjoy stuff like this, I made a little mood board to collect my ideas. It started with the bedding as inspiration and I contacted the etsy seller last night. I'll be ordering a crib skirt, a couple fitted sheets, and two changing pad covers in the fabric swatches located on the right (but no bumper). I'll wait until it all comes in, but I'm thinking aqua walls with the vinyl elephants creating a border just above the crib in white. There are also built in bookshelves that cover one wall that I would love to paint tangerine, but will wait to see if that seems overwhelming or just too much. Remember, our furniture is espresso brown. Now I'm debating the three rugs at the bottom. The one on the left would be in brown, but wanted to show the pattern. Once again, I'll wait till we actually get moving on the room, but I'd love to hear your opinions. What do think?
I figure since this babe will be getting every little thing as a hand me down from Cass, I can splurge on the bedroom that will be just hers!

i would go with the brown rug just to keep things not too busy- plus i think you would be able to use it easier later when you wanted to re-do the room for an older girl. i would do the built-ins white with the wall behind (just the back side of the built ins, not the whole wall) in the tangerine.
exciting- i'm psyched you're making it my favorite color combo :) i'll be able to tell our new kiddo "see, this is what your room would look like if we didn't live in a rental" hee hee hee.
