Yesterday, after work, I found out that we're pregnant again! Woooooohooooooooo!
We're very excited, yet also extremely cautious. So like last time, we will be hiding these posts until the time is right.
I had a sneaking suspicion, but last Friday the test came up negative. Disappointed, I decided to wait things out and test again on Wednesday. Yesterday rolls around and I think to myself, "Welllll... it's almost Wednesday" and it came up positive right away!
Since I was home alone, I decided to do something to surprise Brian. We went out with some of his coworkers since it was their last day of work. Afterwards, I dropped Cassidy and Brian off at the house and headed to the mall for some last minute Christmas things.
It took me a long time to find something, but finally found "Big Sister" jammies at JCPenney. Not exactly our "style", but they'd work. Then last night, I volunteered to get Cassidy ready for bed by myself so I could put on the secret phrase. It's funny, because she was her usual clown self and the task was not so easy. She ran from room to room, climbed on laundry piles, insisted on walking down the stairs herself, etc. So Brian had plenty of opportunities to ruin my surprise, but it wasn't until we were all in the living room that I told Cassidy to show Daddy her shirt. She walked over coyly and a giant smile broke across his face.
