Just like last summer, Brian's been working around the clock on house projects, large and small. We are steadily working on the dining room table and it's turning out great, pictures to come soon! But we also started working on stripping our front door today. We believe it's the original door, knobs, locks, and mail slot plate, but they were all covered in many, many layers of paint. Imagine glossy black paint with brushed gold accents... yeah, "nice". So we took a heat gun to it today and the paint came off relatively easily, but the extra nice surprise was what a little salt and vinegar can do for an old doorknob!

seriously? we are working on our front porch right now and the next project is to strip our front door. hilarious! sometimes I think there is a hardwire between our brains that we don't know about! I can't wait to see you guys this weekend! Pray for noooooooo rain!
