We just love our midwife and look forward to our appointments each month. Today I showed her the spot on my forehead and she also looked at my toe. About a month and a half ago I developed what looked like a pimple on my forehead, but it never went away. Since then it has grown in to what looks more like a blood blister. On four different occasions I have bumped it and it bleeds like crazy. When it happens in the shower it looks like a murder scene! Anyway, she and another doctor determined it's a small hemangioma, which is completely benign, but may be with me for life. Oh yay! We're taking suggestions on names... And as for the toe (it's been numb to the touch for about a month), she wasn't worried about that at all and compared it to carpal tunnel syndrome but in the foot. It should go away once Cassidy is born.
The best part of my appointment was when she checked on the baby. The midwife determined that Cassidy's head down and facing my back which is exactly the way they want her to be for birth! I asked if she thought she would move between now and then, but she really didn't think so. She showed me how to feel the head, the butt, arms, and legs. It was AMAZING!
So, we have another ultrasound tomorrow to check on the position of the placenta and I should also find out the results of the GD test. I'll let you know how it goes!
