Brian’s graduation was tonight and both sets of our parents and Shaun and Alissa came to celebrate. His ceremony was SO nice and he was beaming ear to ear the entire time! He could see where we were sitting and waved to us numerous times. We were all SO proud of him and his accomplishments.
We came home afterward for yummy Boston Creme cake from Whole Foods and coffee. Brian got a number of graduation gifts so we sat in the living room and took pictures of him opening them one by one. After a few minutes, we casually mentioned that we had Mother's Day presents for our mom's, but they had to open them at the same time because they were the same thing. I don't think they suspected a thing! When they opened the brag books (small photo albums filled with ultrasound pictures) my mom was the first to catch on and was kind of looking around the room. Brian’s mom looked at it and said, "What? What?" My mom got teary and Linda started sobbing. It was really great! Everyone jumped up and gave hugs and kisses.
